Play Kitchens at GLTC

Great Little Trading Co. has these wonderful play kitchens available. As every parent knows their child loves to copy what they are doing, and as cooking meals is an important daily job it's something children see happen often. It's something they love to join in with, and whilst kitchen play is fun such as making cakes, it's also something that you can't spare the time for that often! If a child has their own play kitchen they can enjoy role playing at the same time as you're cooking the dinner and have lots of fun playing at making dinner for their toys.
A play kitchen is simply a toy kitchen. It may have various features like ovens, fridges, washing machines and a hob, depending on the sophistication level of the toy, and it usually comes with pots and pans for the child to use whilst play cooking.
It's a fantastic toy resource for children who'll find that they love being in their own kitchen as much as they love being in their family one! It's lots of fun for them to make dinner for all their toys, to cook dinner for their baby dolls and it's really fun to listen to them play. You'll hear them saying things that you say and it'll make you chuckle!
Children will want you to join in too and sit down to dinner at some point. If they have play food too then this makes it lots of fun as you'll get given lots of plastic vegetables and told to eat up your greens!
A play kitchen is good for solo play, for adults joining in, or when they have their siblings or friends playing with them. It's a wonderful toy that stretches their imagination to create stories about something they enjoy - food!
