The Find It “Glitz & Glamour" is a really fun toy that is unlike anything we've ever seen!

It's a fat tube that reminds us of a spaghetti jar in size and shape. It's full of what look like hundreds and thousands - so it is very pretty to look at. The ends are big pink octagonal caps that are well fixed on!

The game is very simple - and it's this simplicity that makes it very clever.

In all the hundreds and thousands are hidden lots of cute little objects! The aim of the game it to discover all of them. There are different ways of playing and it can be played on it's own or with friends. You could play against the clock or on a time free version! It's a very flexible game and children will invent new ways of playing it.

You start off gently shaking the tube and you get a lovely gentle rattle sound that's a little like a rain maker sound. You start to see objects uncover out of the tiny pretty plastic pieces until you can work out what they are.

The “Glitz & Glamour" theme means there are some very girly fun things inside the tube hidden and waiting for you to discover. The list is included printed on the end of one of the caps as well as being provided on a score book for you to cross off as you play the game. Some things are hard to uncover and it takes some very gentle shaking to get them to appear and sometimes they disappear again before you worked out what they were. You can shake the tube gently or as hard as you can! Hold it vertically or horizontally - either is fine and you'll be staring into the pretty tube trying to uncover new items!

You'll hear squeals of "oo ballet slippers" and "I've found the mirror" although if the boys play they might think the hair straighteners are a crocodile! Uncovering the kitty cat will get lots of noise too as will finding the pony! The objects inside the “Glitz & Glamour" Find It are designed to appeal to little girls, but there are many other versions that will appeal to both girls and boys. Some of the shapes are flat monotone items, some are lovely little highly detailed items and some are proper objects! It's the mix of items that makes it interesting and fun! There is a gold ring inside - but it's really hard to find! There's also a penny inside as with all of these Find It games - but we've yet to discover that! The secret of the game is the objects are different shapes and weights which means they won't all appear at the same time! It's a very simple idea that translated very well into a fun and easy game. It's also a tidy game! Apart from the score pad there's no bits to lose or worry about. The tube is perfectly sealed and keeps everything inside.

When they've finished playing with it, it'll look lovely on a shelf or a child's bedside table. It is a game you can pick up and have a quick shake of too! You can play a quick version where you count how many things you can see in a minute! This makes it a fun game to play before going to school as well as a good game for sitting down with friends to play.

This toy is fun for children to play on their own which makes it a useful toy. It's also easy so adults can join in without having to have complicated rules explained - and they can be score keepers too if you're playing a team game version!

Overall The Find It "Glitz and Glamour" is a very pretty and fun game that kids will enjoy playing with. The Glitz and Glamour is great for girls and there are two other versions available too: Sports Find it! or Kids version of Find it! It's got a RRP of £14.99. Would make a greta birthday present!
